BKOM Studios and Paizo have collaborated to launch a Kickstarter campaign for an exciting co-op hack-and-slash action RPG, inspired by the popular Pathfinder tabletop game. The game, titled Pathfinder: Abomination Vaults, is being hailed as the first-ever hack-and-slash RPG based on the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game. If the Kickstarter campaign is successfully funded, the game will be available on PC through Steam.

Pathfinder: Abomination Vaults allows up to four players to join forces and lead a group of Pathfinder heroes on a thrilling mission to defeat the wicked sorceress Belcorra Haruvex. The game is set in the sprawling mega-dungeon located beneath Gauntlight Keep, which is divided into distinct biomes, offering players a diverse and immersive experience.

Players can select from four powerful Pathfinder champions to embark on their quest: Amiri the Barbarian, Harsk the Ranger, Kyra the Cleric, and Ezren the Wizard. In addition to the exciting gameplay, Kickstarter backers will have access to various rewards such as an artbook, early game access, a custom dice set, and more.

The Kickstarter campaign aims to reach a funding goal of CA$410,000, with 30 days remaining to achieve this target. While this hack-and-slash RPG is the first of its kind in the Pathfinder franchise, the series has a history of successful video game adaptations. Notably, last year’s release of Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, an isometric RPG, received high praise in our review.

In other related news, fans of the Diablo series can anticipate the upcoming release of Diablo 4, scheduled to launch in just one week. Our review of Diablo 4 describes it as an amazing sequel with outstanding endgame and progression design, making it incredibly difficult to put down.
